Certificated Application Instructions

Dear Teacher/Administrator Applicant:

Thank you for your interest in the JEFFERSON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT. The information you will need to include on the application is:
1.     A copy of your resume
2.     A copy of your credential(s)
3.     Three (3) letters of reference
4.     Copies of Undergraduate and Graduate transcripts. Official, sealed transcripts are not required unless employment is offered
5.     Proof of passage of CBEST, if applicable
6.     Proof of passage of NCLB "Highly Qualified" status (i.e. CSET, MSAT, NTE )
7.     Any other material or letters to help determine skill, experience and education.

 Upon completion of all of the above requirements

  1. The complete file will be reviewed in detail with regard to credentials, experience, grade level or subject areas, particular strengths and skills.
  2. Interviews will be arranged with those applicants who have the background, skills and potential being sought by the Jefferson Elementary School District.
  3. You may be asked to write a lesson plan or teach a lesson as part of the interview process.
  4. Your application will be kept on file for one year.
