Here are some of the areas that we can provide resources/support for:
If any of these things stand out to you or might be something you are interested in learning more about, please email me and I will reach out to you to see how I can support you and/or fill out a referral for you to our wonderful Family Liaisons.
These resources are confidential and will not be shared aside from myself, you, and the family liaison. My goal is to provide support, confidentiality, and trust towards my students and their families! Thank you again and please email me if you are interested in learning more.

Bullying Prevention | 2019
October 30, 2019: Our wonderful school counselor, Ms. Nicole held an informative and helpful Bullying Prevention workshop on Wednesday. Parents learned how to identify bullying and found out about the ways our school is getting involved. Westlake does not have a high incidence of bullying and we intend to keep it that way by being proactive with bullying prevention and intervention. Below is a copy of Ms. Nicole's presentation. Learn about what bullying is and what we can do to recognize, report, and refuse it. Thank you Ms. Nicole, Ms. Mary, Principal O'Neill, and all the parents who were able to join us.
Common Sense Technology Use for Our Children | 2018
November 13, 2018: During a special morning PTA meeting, our wonderful school counselor, Kirstin Lenane, discussed how to promote positive technology use for our children. Please check out Ms. Kirstin's presentation below to learn more about what children are doing and learn how you can help your children make the best choices when it comes to technology.
We learned there are good resources out there to help families navigate the technology world responsibly and safely! Thank you Ms. Kirstin for the very helpful and informative presentation!
