1. John F. Kennedy Choral Group
John F. Kennedy School has started a student choral group through the generosity of their wonderful PTA. Some of the JFK Dragon Singers will perform at the School Board Meeting.
2. 2009 JESD Science Fair
Brian Allen and Carrie Baesler, Science Fair Facilitators, will give a presentation on the 2009 JESD Science Fair as well as acknowledge the winners of the 2009 JESD Science Fair and the participants in the County Science Fair.

Pursuant to Education Code 35120 (9)(c), the Administration recommends passage of a resolution to excuse Marianne Petroni’s absences on January 28, 2009, February 4, 2009, and February 11, 2009, due to hardship.

Education Code Sec. 45266 requires an annual report be prepared and forwarded to the Governing Board outlining Personnel Commission activities. The 2008 Annual Report of the Personnel Commission has been reviewed and approved by the Personnel Commission and is submitted for the Board’s information.
